                ventricular arrhythmias.
			
			Since recovery from lidocaine block is
                rapid, depolarized (ischemic) or rapidly driven
                tissue is affected preferentially.
			
			Lidocaine decreases automaticity by
			
			reducing the phase 4 slope and by
                increasing threshold.
			
			
			 Large doeses, rapidly administered can
                result in seizure. |
